Custom FAQ

Tips for Handwriting

  • Use a thick, dark marker on blank paper for the best results.
  • Bold lines are ideal for kids’ handwriting or drawings.
  • Light or fine lines (like from a pen or pencil) can be harder to transfer, but I’m happy to touch them up if needed—especially for sentimental pieces like old cards or recipes.
  • Simple designs work best since the glaze dries quickly (in about 30 seconds).
  • If your design has more than 15 lines, I’ll review it to make sure it’s doable.
  • Small details (like tiny dots or eyes) can be unpredictable due to how glaze behaves. I use wax resist with a toothpick, but some bleeding might occur—please keep this in mind when placing your order.

If you’re unsure about your design, feel free to message me anytime!

Additional Notes

  • Quantities are limited so I recommend being online at exact time of launch for best chance of securing a custom spot.
  • Every mug is lovingly handmade on the pottery wheel, meaning no two are exactly alike. Slight size variations, glaze drips, or uneven rims are part of their charm and uniqueness.
  • Refunds are only available if there’s an error on our end.
